Bridal Lehenga
Bridal lehengas are the traditional attire worn by Indian girls on the day of their wedding. To ensure that their dulhan lehenga is perfect, brides often consult various sources, including fashion magazines and websites. They can also wear lehengas at other occasions besides weddings, receptions, and engagements. In addition to these festive occasions, girls tend to wear them during parties, get-togethers, ceremonies and other celebrations as well.
What is ideal time to should I start bridal shopping?
This depends on many factors. If you have a big family and want to go with specific clothing theme for 10 to 15+ close family members then plan wedding shopping at least 6 months before the wedding day. Coordination, selection, design customisations and trials should be kept in mind and all this will take it own time. It’s not like visiting a mall and picking up items instantly. It is going to be a very special moment and so preparations should be done in advance.
For 3-5 wedding garments girl must start her bridal shopping about 3 months before the wedding. This gives the bride ample time to explore wedding lehenga options. If the girl chooses to wear a custom-made designer bridal lehenga, she must order it at least 3 months prior the wedding day, to ensure timely delivery and the right fit.
If you are planning to buy from shops (not designers) then start at least 1 month before the wedding date.
